The Bulieve Collective
Bulieve Collective
A Community Art Projectject
About the Project
My name is Gillian O’Shea and I am an Irish visual artist from Castledermot Co. Kildare. I am developing a new body of artwork for a future public exhibition. One of my goals is to create work that is relevant and accessible for everyone – not just people that normally go to galleries or have lots of knowledge.
I want to dedicate a section of my exhibition to you. The Bulieve Collective is about creating a community of hope. I am launching an invitation for everyone create a small piece of fabric art to be included in my final exhibition. Everyone is invited to join in, be creative and one day, join me, your friends and family to visit our collective exhibition.
The visual motif for this exhibition is the butterfly as a symbol of change, hope and life.
